I am running for the US Congress because I feel I am the best qualified to serve in this role as the fulfillment of my duty as a citizen of the US. I spent most of my working life in the service of my country as an officer in the United States Navy. I am stepping forward as a candidate for Congress because, “If it is to be, it’s up to me.” I also believe, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” - Edmund Burke

I am running a campaign that will return the accountability of US Representatives back to the people who elected them.  I am accepting no money from PACs, special interests, organizations, corporations or lobbyists.  I am accepting only a maximum of $100 from individuals.  I believe it is important for the voters to have "skin in the game" by supporting a candidate with a contribution.  If elected, I will be obligated only to them.

$100. That’s the most I am letting anyone donate to my campaign. Why? Money in politics has corrupted our democracy beyond recognition.I’m running for Congress in the 8th District so that I can represent you. I am not a Democrat nor a Republican. I am an Independent. If you too want to put voters back in charge of politics, please send $100. Don’t have that much right now? Send less if you can. But not more. I’ll send it back.
